  • Hi everyone! My name is Sandra Henderson and I am a child of God, mother of 3 beautiful children, and wife to the most patient man in the world. I am also part owner of Fusion Fotografix located in the heart of Clemmons, North Carolina in a beautiful 211 year old historic studio.

I have been in the photography business for 8 years and did not learn to pose newborns overnight, nor will you, so be patient. However, I have created a set of posing videos to help speed up that process for you. Posing is an ever evolving technique. The pose you capture today most likely will not be the pose you capture tomorrow.

Here, I hope you will find the tools to help speed up your technique and get you where you want to be.

If you have questions, please contact me directly at sandra@newbornposing.net.

Newborn Baby Posing

 —————————————————————————————————————

Complete Posing Video

In the Complete Posing Video, you will watch as I go over setting up your studio space for fabric, basket and mom/dad posing.  I talk about using a coffee table and show you how to drape it for softness, for ease of fabric changes and what size pillow you need to use to prop the baby.  I also talk about my lighting setup and camera settings and show you where I place everything.

Once the setup is complete, you watch as I photograph a baby who starts out awake and then drifts off to sleep.  My typical flow posing is fabrics, baskets and mom/dad but in this instance the newborn was not asleep so you get to see first hand how I handled the baby to try and help him drift off to sleep.  I use a mixture of studio and natural light in this video.

Cost: $89.  Purchase here.

Before purchasing any video, please note that videos are not in HD.  There may be moments (seconds) of focusing issues; however,  the quality of information provided is the type of information you would receive in my workshop or Skype session.  Also, it is your responsibility as the photographer to take safety precautions when photographing a newborn.  Videos are for educational purposes only.  By purchasing videos, you are agreeing to hold harmless Sandra Henderson, Newborn Posing & More, and Fusion Fotografix for any injury caused to your client under your supervision and care while photographing.

I strongly suggest that you do not photograph a newborn in anything glass.  The pressure from a newborn and any materials used inside of the glass may cause the glass to break therefore causing serious injury to the baby.  It’s just not worth risking injury to your client’s newborn period!
